We have some fresh boat related content, as promised. I wrote a series of articles for another site. The series was intended to be a tutorial on how to restore a Carlson. That scope doesn't apply to this crowd but I've been asked for some information about my restoration project and I don't feel like rewriting it so here it is. It was plenty of work to move it over here. This is really long but you can flip through it and see what's happening by looking at the thumbnails. There are a bunch more articles. Let me know what you think and if you want me to do more. The 1st article Regards, Tom Brown

The Dark Side has been a popular feature here at HavasuBarney.com. It's been enjoyed by many people who have never made a post on the site. I tip my hat to all of you. I hope you enjoyed it.
I haven't put together any statistics on the amount of porn this site has served in the last few years and I don't think I will but it's a lot. The era of free porn in the Dark Side is now over. I've cleaned out the porn so I hope you saved what you wanted to your hard disk.
In the place of pornography, we're going to take a shot at some boating related content. Watch this space for some great new material.
As far as rules go, we now have one. No porn. If you have a topless picture of your wife or girlfriend you'd like to share with the group, that's fine but do it in the Dark Side. Do not share it unless you took the picture, it's you or your spouse, and both you and your spouse are OK with sharing it.
Basically, we used to have two modes on the site. There was the general site which featured strong adult content and there was the Dark Side which featured sexual monstrosities heretofore unheard of in medical textbooks.
The new format will feature adult (but not porn) content in the Dark Side and no nudity whatsoever in the rest of the site.
Please feel free to be as profane as you wish. If we feel it's beyond what we are comfortable with, it will be moved to the Dark Side. It will not be deleted. At this time, the only thing that is being removed is porn.
Thank you for your cooperation and I hope everyone enjoys the new material that will be cropping up in the next few weeks. Check back often.
Oh... and don't hesitate to post a picture or two of your boat and perhaps introduce yourself before you go looking for new sources of porn on the Internet.
Regards,
Tom Brown |

Forkin Crazy takes an old hacked up cowl in modest condition, smooths it, and paints it to look better than new. I will do my best to provide some narrative for the procedure but I think his pictures speak for themselves. This may seem trivial to people who have worked with glass and paint but I think it's a great little project that really dressed up his engine. If someone were wanting to try their hand at a glass and paint project, this might be a great one to take on. The article can be found here. Thank you, Paul. :) |
